Iran threatens to strike US bases! Turkey is among them
Following threats of attack from the US, the Tehran administration has taken action. Iran has informed its allies that if the US targets it, it will attack American bases in regional countries.
Speaking to Reuters, a senior Iranian official stated that the Iranian administration has sent a clear warning to US allies in the Middle East. According to the official, Tehran has asked regional countries to prevent any potential US attack on Iran.
"IF THE US ATTACKS, BASES WILL BE TARGETED"
The Iranian official said they have clearly communicated that if Washington targets Iran, US bases on the territory of allied countries will be struck. The official used the following expressions:
"Tehran has told countries in the region, from Saudi Arabia and the UAE to Turkey, that if the US targets Iran, the US bases in these countries will be attacked."
IT HAD BEEN ANNOUNCED BEFORE
High-level military and political officials, including Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, have made similar statements before.
Iranian officials have repeatedly stated that if the US targets Iranian territory, they will respond to the American presence in the region.
