The third round of indirect negotiations between Iran and the US, conducted in Geneva, Switzerland, with Oman acting as mediator, has resumed following a break.
While Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is leading the Iranian delegation in the talks continuing at the Omani Embassy in Geneva, the US delegation includes President Donald Trump's Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff and his son-in-law Jared Kushner.
The third round of talks held in Geneva began in an intense and serious atmosphere from the morning hours.
Following the meetings, which lasted approximately 3 hours, a break was taken, and the delegations left the hall to consult with their capitals regarding the negotiation topics.
In the talks, the Iranian side highlights the protection of its right to benefit from nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and the effective lifting of sanctions as its primary priorities.
The US side, meanwhile, is focusing on the scope of nuclear activities and inspection and verification mechanisms.
