Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi: A phone call from Washington is enough to silence Netanyahu
In a statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying, "A phone call from Washington would be enough to silence someone like Netanyahu. This could pave the way for a return to diplomacy."
Tensions between Iran and Israel continue to escalate. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a statement on his social media account, harshly criticized Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel's attacks on Iran, stating that Iran will not stop responding to the attacks. Araghchi said, "Netanyahu is a wanted war criminal. He is also a con artist who has been making successive US presidents fight his wars for 30 years."
"NETANYAHU'S GOAL IS TO SABOTAGE THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN IRAN AND THE US"
Addressing the purpose of the Israeli attacks, Araghchi said, "All signs indicate that Netanyahu's goal in his attacks against Iran, in which he has killed hundreds of civilians including women and children, is to sabotage the agreement between Iran and the US that we were almost about to reach. He is currently playing another US President and making fools of US citizens."
"WE WILL CONTINUE TO BATTER THEM"
Araghchi stated, "Our powerful armed forces clearly declare to the whole world that the crimes committed by war criminals hiding in bunkers in Tel Aviv will not go unpunished. We will continue to batter the cowards until we are sure they are no longer firing on our people."
"A PHONE CALL IS ENOUGH TO SILENCE HIM"
The Iranian Minister continued his remarks as follows:
"If President Trump is sincere about diplomacy and interested in stopping this war, the steps to be taken from now on are very important. Israel must stop its aggression. If the military aggression against us is not completely halted, our responses will continue. A phone call from Washington would be enough to silence someone like Netanyahu. This could pave the way for a return to diplomacy."
Warning that US involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict would have dire consequences, Araghchi said, "Conversely, dragging the US into the greatest of eternal wars will destroy the possibility of a negotiated solution with dangerous, unpredictable, and potentially unimaginable consequences for regional security and the global economy."
"WE WILL FIGHT TO THE LAST DROP OF OUR BLOOD"
Araghchi said, "Let us not forget: Iran did not start this war and has no intention of continuing the bloodshed. However, we will proudly fight to the last drop of our blood to protect our land, our people, our honor, and our achievements."
