Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement on his social media account regarding the "True Promise 2" operation. In his statement, Araghchi said, "Exercising our right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter, we targeted only military and security sites responsible for the genocide in Gaza and Lebanon.

We took this step after showing great restraint for nearly two months to ensure a ceasefire in Gaza."

Araghchi stated, "Our operation has ended if the Israeli regime does not retaliate.

Otherwise, our response will be much stronger and harsher.
