Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi: We will not negotiate with the US

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made assessments regarding nuclear negotiations with the US and Iran's nuclear program. Emphasizing that his country will not end its nuclear activities, Araghchi said, "We will not negotiate on our missile program. No rational person would accept disarmament. It is not possible to stop uranium enrichment. Something that cannot be taken by war cannot be given away through politics."

"WE CAN REACH AN AGREEMENT THROUGH INDIRECT TALKS WITH THE US"

Speaking about negotiations with the US, Araghchi stated that they are confident their program is peaceful, adding, "We are ready to negotiate to address concerns on this issue. It is possible to reach a fair agreement, but Washington has put forward unacceptable conditions. We have no intention of direct negotiations. If the US does not impose its demands, we can reach a fair agreement through indirect talks."

"WE EXPECT ANY KIND OF HOSTILE BEHAVIOR FROM THE ZIONIST REGIME"

Touching upon the 12-day conflict with Israel, Araghchi said, "We are prepared for any possibility and we expect any kind of hostile behavior from the Zionist regime. We are at the highest level of readiness at all levels, and Israel will be defeated once again in any future war. We gained significant experience in the last war and tested our missiles in a real conflict. If the Zionist regime attempts a new attack, the consequences for them will be severe."

Stating that Israel cannot attack Iran without a green light from the US, Araghchi said, "Netanyahu is a war criminal and has proven that Israel is the true enemy of the region. The Zionist regime tried to expand the scope of the war by targeting our oil facilities. However, we managed this war successfully and prevented the conflict from spreading to the region."

Addressing the current status of the nuclear facilities targeted by the US and Israel in recent months, Araghchi said, "Nuclear materials are still under the rubble of the struck facilities and have not been moved elsewhere. Buildings and some equipment were damaged, but the nuclear technology remains standing tall."
