Iranian leader Khamenei reacts to Israel

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated that Israel has received a heavy blow from Hamas, adding, "Because their strength is not enough against Palestinian fighters, they are targeting Palestinian women, children, and civilians. The fighters are ready to take action. Muslim countries must not remain passive in the face of these war crimes," he said.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei spoke at an event held in the capital, Tehran.

Khamenei stated that Israel's ongoing attacks on Gaza will be fruitless and that the Palestinian resistance will emerge victorious in this war, saying, "This occupying regime, which has been brought to its knees and wounded, is attacking the oppressed Palestinian people in Gaza to take revenge for the blow it received from the Palestinian resistance. Undoubtedly, even if they receive unlimited support from the US along with all the oppressive powers in the world, the crimes they commit will yield no results. Victory will certainly belong to the Palestinians," he expressed.

"THE US IS A PARTNER IN THESE WAR CRIMES"

Holding the US administration responsible for Israel's attacks on Gaza, Khamenei said that Western countries are trying to save the Israeli state, which has been collapsing since Hamas's operation. Khamenei said, "The US is a partner in these war crimes. The US administration is coordinating Israel's attacks. Why did the US President (Joe Biden) and the leaders of oppressive states like the UK, France, and Germany visit the occupied territories one after another? Because they saw that the Zionist Israeli regime was collapsing, and they are going to the occupied territories to save this regime," he said.

"MUSLIM COUNTRIES MUST NOT REMAIN PASSIVE"

Stating that Israel is attacking defenseless Palestinian civilians to take revenge for the blow it received from Hamas, Khamenei said, "Israel took a heavy blow from Hamas, it is wounded and cannot stand up. Because their strength is not enough against Palestinian fighters, they are targeting Palestinian women, children, and civilians. The fighters are ready to take action. Muslim countries must not remain passive in the face of these war crimes. The leaders and political spokespeople of Islamic countries should not repeat what Western countries say and label Palestinians as terrorists. Are those who defend their own homes and lands against occupation terrorists? The terrorists are those who occupy those lands and homes. The US and the Western world are trying to portray those who try to defend their own homes and lands as terrorists," he stated.

Stating that despite the banning of pro-Palestine demonstrations in some European countries, people have taken to the streets with Palestinian flags, Khamenei said, "No one can stop the anger and reaction of the people in the face of the Zionist regime's crimes. The future of the world belongs not to Zionist Israel, but to the Palestinians. Despite all the bans, people are shouting about this regime's war crimes in squares and streets," he concluded.
