Iranian President Pezeshkian to Trump: He wants to do to Iran what he did in Gaza

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded to US President Donald Trump's threats against Iran, stating, "They tell us not to possess missiles and weapons, and not to increase our military power. Their real goal is to implement a similar scenario in Iran as they did in Gaza. However, we will not take a step back in the face of threats, and we will not surrender."

Iranian President Pezeshkian to Trump: He wants to do to Iran what he did in Gaza

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian responded to US threats against Iran while visiting Bushehr province as part of his provincial tours.

Stating that they are not seeking war, Pezeshkian said, "We are not at war with any country or person.

We have brotherly relations with all our neighbors, and we will further strengthen these relations. All countries in the region are our brothers and friends," he said.

"WE WILL NOT TAKE A STEP BACK"

Reacting to US President Donald Trump's threats against Iran, Pezeshkian said, "They tell us not to possess missiles and weapons, and not to increase our military power. Their real goal is to implement a similar scenario in Iran as they did in Gaza. However, the Iranian nation will never bow to these pressures and will continue its resistance. We will not take a step back in the face of threats, and we will not surrender," he stated.

"HOW CAN THEY ACCUSE OTHERS"

Pezeshkian said, "US President Trump accused Iran of supporting terrorism in the executive order he signed. Yet, since the revolution, 18 thousand people, including government officials, scientists, and ordinary citizens, have lost their lives in terrorist attacks. So, who carried out these terrorist attacks? Did we commit acts of terror, or did they? How can those who are the real culprits of terrorism in the region accuse others?" he said.

"NO ONE CAN TURN IRAN FROM ITS PATH"

Stating that the US policy of pressure on Iran is an obstacle to negotiations, Pezeshkian said, "Those who talk about negotiations today are the ones who imposed the harshest sanctions on the Iranian people in the past, closed all avenues for cooperation, and used every tool to put our country under pressure. If they truly want negotiations, why don't they end their hostile policies? Such deceptions have lost their effect, and no one can turn Iran from its path," he stated.
