The Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, a key military command center of the Iranian Armed Forces, announced to the public a four-stage retaliation strategy to be followed against the US.

In the statement made by the headquarters, it was emphasized that "all preparations for a great jihad have been completed." Within the scope of the retaliation plan in question, it was stated that, first, the Strait of Hormuz would be completely closed and would not be reopened until Iran's power plants are rebuilt.

The remainder of the statement detailed the four main points: "The Zionist regime's power plants, energy infrastructure, and information technology facilities will be targeted comprehensively. All companies in the region that have partnerships with the US will be completely destroyed. Furthermore, the power plants of countries hosting US bases will also be included as legitimate targets."

In the statement made by Iranian authorities, it was emphasized that the country was not the party that started the war, and the following remarks drew attention: "However, if the enemy causes any damage to our power plants, we will do everything to defend our country and our people. The period for the uninterrupted destruction of the aforementioned targets will begin. There will be no obstacles left to our targeting of the energy, oil, and industrial infrastructure of the US and its allies."

Additionally, the statement reiterated that the Strait of Hormuz is kept closed only to harmful traffic linked to the US and Israel, but that passage could be permitted as long as Iran's security and interests are guaranteed.
