Iran's assessment of the negotiation environment

Stating that the talks are continuing at the level of technical delegations, Baghaei said, "Currently, Mr. Araghchi is meeting with his Omani counterpart.

More detailed information will be shared after the talks are concluded," he stated.
Baghaei also said that Steve Witkoff, the US Special Envoy for the Middle East and head of the US delegation in the negotiations, left the venue where the negotiations were held shortly before due to his flight schedule, but that the talks between the two sides are still ongoing under the mediation of Omani Foreign Minister Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi.
