Iraq: War in Gaza and Lebanon could trigger new conflicts
Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein stated that if Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip and Lebanon continue, new conflicts could erupt in the region.
According to a written statement from the Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hussein met with Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, as part of his European tour.
During the meeting, the issue of establishing coordination to adopt a common position against Israel's attacks on Gaza and Lebanon was discussed.
In the meeting, Hussein warned that the continuation of the war in Gaza and Lebanon could lead to the emergence of new conflicts in other regions as well.
The Iraqi Foreign Minister stated that more pressure must be put on Israel to prevent this.
Hussein began a European tour on October 16 that included Ireland, the Czech Republic, Croatia, and France.
