In a statement from Israel, it was reported that Hamas's latest proposal regarding the ceasefire agreement has been received. 

While Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip have been ongoing for 271 days, ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Gaza continue. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that the Israeli negotiating team has received Hamas's latest proposal regarding a ceasefire agreement in Gaza from Qatari, Egyptian, and US mediators. The Prime Minister's Office stated, "Israel is reviewing the proposal and will convey its response to the mediators."

HAMAS CONFIRMS IT HAS DELIVERED THE CEASEFIRE PROPOSAL

Hamas, stating that it has been in contact with mediators regarding a ceasefire in Gaza, said, "We have exchanged some ideas with the mediators with the aim of stopping the war and withdrawing completely from the Gaza Strip." Hamas stated that it is flexible in its demands, while claiming that Israel is trying to "deceive and evade" them.

Israel had presented its proposal regarding the latest ceasefire agreement on May 27. US President Joe Biden had shared some important details of the proposal with the public on May 31. Hamas had responded to Israel's proposal on June 11. The US and Israel had stated that Hamas had made changes to many of the articles.
