Israel announces: Hezbollah's 'Nasser' unit commander killed

Israel announces: Hezbollah's 'Nasser' unit commander killed

The Israeli military has issued a new statement regarding its operations against Lebanon and Iran. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that Hassan Salame, commander of the "Nasser" unit—one of the three main units responsible for Hezbollah's operations in southern Lebanon—was killed in an attack in the Jouaiyya region of Lebanon.

The statement alleged that Salame had held senior positions within Hezbollah for many years and played a role in planning and executing numerous attacks against Israel.

SIMULTANEOUS WAVE OF ATTACKS ON IRAN

The Israeli military also shared information regarding the operations conducted against Iran. According to the statement, military targets belonging to the regime in the cities of Tehran and Tabriz were struck in simultaneous attacks.

It was stated that the targeted points included command headquarters, missile launchers, and artillery units, and it was claimed that these facilities were used in attacks against Israel and certain countries in the Middle East.

The Israeli military stated that the completed wave of attacks was intended to increase pressure on the Iranian regime's military capabilities.
