Israel attacks Aleppo: 38 dead

It has been reported that 38 people, including civilians, lost their lives in an attack carried out by Israel on the countryside of the Syrian city of Aleppo.

Israel attacks Aleppo: 38 dead

The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that the Israeli military and certain armed groups targeted various points in the Aleppo countryside at approximately 01:45.

It was stated that a large number of soldiers and civilians were killed as a result of the attack, and that damage occurred to public buildings and private property.

The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Israel struck an arms depot near Aleppo International Airport, causing a massive explosion and killing at least 36 Syrian soldiers.

It was noted that there were also weapons depots belonging to Hezbollah in the region. In a report by the Reuters news agency citing two security sources, it was stated that at least 38 people were killed in the attacks on Aleppo by the Israeli military and some armed groups, including 5 Hezbollah members and 33 civilians and soldiers. The Israeli military has not yet made a statement regarding the attack.

Israel frequently carries out attacks on points belonging to Iran-linked groups, including Hezbollah, in areas across eastern, southern, and northwestern Syria, as well as around the capital, Damascus.
