Israel closes northern airspace for 24 hours: Will it attack Lebanon?

It has been reported that Israel has closed its northern airspace for 24 hours. The closed region had begun to be targeted by Hezbollah rockets following the Israeli Air Force's strikes on Lebanon.

According to a report by Israel's state broadcaster KAN, the Israeli military decided to close the airspace from the western city of Hadera to the north for 24 hours due to the ongoing tensions.

It was noted that the airspace can only be used by those with flight authorization under these conditions, though no further details were provided.

Israel Army Radio reported that the decision was taken to reduce the risk of the air defense system mistakenly identifying and neutralizing Israeli aircraft as hostile.

Lebanese Minister of Public Health Firas Al-Abyad stated in a press conference that the death toll from the airstrike had risen to 31, including 3 children and 7 women, with 68 people injured.

Al-Abyad reported that the total number of deaths from the pager and walkie-talkie explosions and yesterday's attacks had risen to 70.
