Israel has confirmed that it carried out a missile strike on a vehicle in the Syrian capital, Damascus. Israeli military spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that the Israeli army targeted a vehicle in Damascus with a missile, announcing that the head of the financial arm responsible for the flow of funds from Iran to Hezbollah was targeted in the attack.

While Hagari did not disclose the identity of the targeted Hezbollah member, he said that the individual had been in the position for only a few weeks since the killing of his predecessor. Hagari indicated that Israel would carry out more attacks on Hezbollah's financial network in the coming days.

The Israeli press, meanwhile, claimed that the other person who lost their life in the attack was responsible for the transfer of weapons from Iran to Hezbollah.
