Israel has completely destroyed 69,000 homes in the Gaza Strip in 94 days!

It has been stated that 69,000 homes have been completely destroyed in the attacks Israel has been carrying out in the Gaza Strip since October 7.

In a written statement issued yesterday by the media office of the government in Gaza, updated information was shared regarding the loss of life and property in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, which have been ongoing for 94 days.

ATTACKS TARGETING CIVILIANS

The statement noted that at least 23,084 people, including 10,000 children and 7,000 women, have been killed and approximately 59,000 people have been injured in the attacks Israel has been carrying out on the Gaza Strip for 94 days. The statement included information that 326 of those who died were healthcare workers, 45 were civil defense personnel, and 112 were journalists.

Pointing out that there are 7,000 people who remain under the rubble and whose bodies have not yet been reached, the statement indicated that 70 percent of these are women and children.

The statement reported that Israeli forces have so far detained 2,600 people, including at least 99 doctors and healthcare personnel and 10 journalists.

SCHOOLS, HOSPITALS, EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS...

The statement, which indicated that 290,000 homes, 295 educational institutions, and 240 mosques were partially destroyed, and 69,000 homes, 138 mosques, 134 government buildings, and 95 schools and universities were completely destroyed in Israel's attacks on the Gaza Strip, also shared information that 30 hospitals and 53 health centers have been rendered out of service and 121 ambulances have been rendered unusable.

Emphasizing that 2 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are living in very difficult conditions in hundreds of shelters and that all of them are in need of urgent aid and support, the statement expressed that their ongoing problems must be solved at the root.

The statement included information that 400,000 of the 1.8 million Palestinians who are still living in very difficult conditions in shelters have contracted infectious diseases.

CALL FOR AID

Calling for the opening of all border crossings, including Rafah, for the treatment of thousands of wounded people abroad, the statement requested immediate approval for 6,000 wounded people to be treated abroad, as hospitals in the Gaza Strip remain insufficient to treat such a large number of wounded.

Stating that a real famine is being experienced in the Gaza and North Gaza provinces, as confirmed by various international organizations, the statement held the international community, the US, and Israel fully responsible for the policy of hunger and thirst in the Gaza Strip.

The statement called on the world to stop this war and pressure Israel to deliver food aid to Gaza and North Gaza.

Strongly condemning the killing, targeting, and detention of Palestinian journalists and media workers, the statement called on Arab and international press and media unions to condemn the crimes committed by Israel against Palestinian journalists and to apply pressure to stop the comprehensive war of genocide.

Stating that the aid entering the Gaza Strip meets only 2 percent of its needs and demanding the opening of border crossings to bring in the aid accumulating on the other side of the border, the statement requested the dispatch of 1,000 trucks of supplies and aid per day, as well as 1 million liters of fuel and emergency and civil defense machinery and equipment to the Gaza Strip to save what can be saved.

Reiterating the call for hospitals to be protected from being targeted by the Israeli army, the statement demanded the release of all healthcare workers detained by Israel, especially General Director of Al-Shifa Hospital Muhammad Abu Salmiya, Director of Kamal Adwan Hospital Ahmed al-Kahlout, and Director of Al-Awda Hospital Ahmed al-Muhanna, and requested that international institutions condemn these crimes.

In the shadow of the humanitarian catastrophe that emerged with Israel's destruction of approximately 360,000 homes, the statement requested that the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Arab League, and the entire world find an immediate solution to this humanitarian catastrophe "related to hundreds of thousands of families losing their homes," and called on everyone to make every effort to find appropriate solutions to this catastrophe caused by the Israeli army.
