Israel has killed nearly 2,000 people in Lebanon: More than a million people left homeless

To date, 1,928 people have lost their lives in operations carried out by Israeli soldiers in Lebanon. While 1 million 200 thousand people have been forced to leave their homes in the attacks, 9,290 people have been injured.

In a statement from the Disaster Risk Management Unit affiliated with the Lebanese government, information was provided regarding those who have died, been injured, and been displaced in Israeli attacks since October 8.

The statement noted that approximately 134 airstrikes were carried out in various parts of Lebanon over the last two days, mostly in the southern regions and the Dahiye district of the capital, Beirut.

Israel has recently intensified its airstrikes on Lebanon. The reason for this is Israel's plan to occupy the southern Lebanon region.

LEBANESE PEOPLE ARE LIVING IN SHELTERS

It was stated that 1 million 200 thousand people have been displaced due to Israeli attacks since October 8, and 160,200 of these individuals have been placed in shelters.

It was recorded that 55 more people lost their lives and 156 people were injured in the attacks Israel carried out on Lebanon in the last 24 hours.

With the latest losses, it was reported that the number of people who have died in Israeli attacks since October 8, 2023, has reached 1,928, and the number of injured has reached 9,290.

The Israeli army, which has been engaged in controlled clashes with Hezbollah on the Lebanon-Israel border since October 8, 2023, detonated pagers and radios used by Hezbollah on September 17-18, and carried out hundreds of airstrikes on the Bekaa and Baalbek regions as well as southern Lebanese cities on September 23.

The Israeli army announced on September 30 that it had begun limited and intensive ground attacks targeting Hezbollah's infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
