Israel has launched its occupation plan in Gaza

The Israeli army (IDF) announced this morning that it has launched a major operation targeting the outer suburbs of Gaza City. With the operation, the entire region has been declared a war zone, and the ceasefire previously granted for humanitarian aid has been halted.

IDF Arabic Spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated that the operation is "preparation for the next stages of the war" and used the following expressions:

"We are no longer waiting. We have begun the first phase of the attack on Gaza City. We are conducting an operation with great force in the outer suburbs. We will not hesitate until Hamas is eliminated and all hostages are recovered."

THE OCCUPATION OF THE ENTIRE GAZA STRIP IS TARGETED

The Israeli security cabinet decided to expand the occupation plan despite internal and external objections. The plan envisions the complete seizure of control of Gaza City, which is under Hamas administration, and the subsequent installation of a new administration in the region by the Netanyahu government.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had clearly stated that the ultimate goal is "the occupation of the entire Gaza Strip."

NEARLY 1 MILLION PALESTINIANS WILL BE DISPLACED

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that the occupation operation launched by Israel means a new wave of forced migration for nearly 1 million Palestinians.

UN officials emphasized that there is already a severe humanitarian crisis in the region and that this plan will deepen the catastrophe.

MORE THAN 63 THOUSAND PALESTINIANS HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES

According to data from the Ministry of Health in Gaza, more than 63 thousand Palestinians have been killed as a result of Israel's attacks, which have been ongoing since October 7, 2023.
