Israel kills health workers in Lebanon; dozens dead in Gaza

Israel kills health workers in Lebanon; dozens dead in Gaza

Israel's attacks have been ongoing since October 7, 2023.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced that six people, including four Lebanese health workers, lost their lives in an Israeli attack on a civil defense center in the Nabatieh region of southern Lebanon.

In the same statement, it was reported that 12 rescue workers lost their lives in a second attack on a civil defense center near Baalbek.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that at least 24 Palestinians have been killed and 112 people injured in Gaza in the last 24 hours.

Palestinian-American Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib called on U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to resign after the deadline set for Israel to increase humanitarian aid to Gaza was not met. Tlaib criticized the failure to implement consequences against Israel if humanitarian aid is not increased.

Israel's attacks on Gaza have led to the deaths of at least 43,736 Palestinians and the injury of 103,370 people since October 7, 2023.

On the same day, approximately 1,139 people lost their lives and more than 200 people were taken hostage in the Hamas-led attacks in Israel.

Since the beginning of the war, at least 3,386 people have lost their lives and 14,417 people have been injured in Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
