Israel launches airstrike on Damascus: 15 dead, 16 injured
An Israeli airstrike on the Syrian capital, Damascus, has left 15 people dead and 16 others injured.
Israel has carried out an airstrike on the Mazzeh and Qudssaya districts in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
In the attack, 15 people lost their lives and 16 others were injured.
The Israeli military claimed that it targeted several buildings and command centers belonging to the Palestinian Islamic Jihad organization in the attack.
The Syrian Ministry of Defense announced that Israel launched the attack from the direction of the occupied Golan Heights.
