Israel launches ground operation in Gaza: Second act of genocide

GAZA UNDER BLOCKADE

The United Nations announced that one staff member was killed and five others were injured in an attack on a guesthouse in Gaza. The UN stated that it is not yet known who carried out the attack.

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant announced that Palestinians in Gaza will soon be issued evacuation orders from conflict zones. Gallant said that Tuesday's airstrikes were the first step in a plan to increase pressure on Hamas and secure the release of the hostages.

HUNDREDS OF PALESTINIANS MASSACRED

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that 436 people, including 183 children and 94 women, were killed and 678 others were injured in the attacks launched by Israel on Tuesday. The Israeli military claims that it only targets militants and that Hamas is responsible for civilian casualties.

Since the beginning of the war, approximately 49 thousand Palestinians have lost their lives, and 90 percent of Gaza's population has been displaced. The Ministry of Health stated that more than half of those who died were women and children.

In Israel, mass protests were held due to the government's handling of the hostage crisis and its plan to dismiss the head of the internal security agency. Protesters gathered in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's residence in Jerusalem. Police used water cannons to disperse the protesters.

Ceasefire negotiations between Israel and Hamas ended before they could begin due to the uncompromising stances of both parties. While Hamas demanded a complete Israeli withdrawal from Gaza, Israel proposed extending the ceasefire without committing to ending the war.
