Israel launches ground operation in Gaza, strikes Yemen on the same day

Israeli forces, which launched a deadly ground offensive in Gaza with tank and infantry units, targeted Yemen on the same day.

Announcing that it would strike the port of Al Hudaydah, which has become the headquarters of the Yemeni Houthis, Israel ordered city residents to evacuate.

In a post on a US-based social media platform, an Israeli military spokesperson included a map showing the area to be targeted.

'WE TURNED SOME OF THE PLANES BACK'

According to local sources, Israel rained bombs on 12 separate areas. It was reported that large explosions were heard, but no footage has been shared yet.

The Houthis made a statement after the attack. A spokesperson for the Yemeni organization said, "our air defense caused some of the planes to break formation and turn back."

The Yemeni Houthis had launched 3 separate UAVs at Israel this week. These UAVs were intercepted by the air defense system.

MASSACRE CONTINUES IN GAZA

Meanwhile, the offensive in Gaza, spearheaded by tanks, continues. Israel says it will 'destroy Hamas' as part of the operation it has named "Gideon's Chariot 2." In addition, it plans to annex Gaza.

Following the bombardment that began at night, Israeli tanks opened fire on buildings and continued their offensive along the Tel Rifaat corridor. Israeli soldiers, who planted bombs in the buildings, celebrated while watching the buildings they destroyed.

Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz proudly announced the massacre they carried out by saying, "Gaza is burning." Reactions poured in from around the world against the attacks.
