Israel may invade Rafah! Threat from the Defense Minister...
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has claimed there are indications that the Hamas movement does not want to reach a hostage exchange agreement with the Tel Aviv government. Gallant stated that they would "invade the city of Rafah very soon."
According to a report published in the Yediot Ahronot newspaper, Gallant made a statement while inspecting troops in the Netzarim Corridor, which is controlled by the Israeli army.
In his speech, Gallant stated, "We have observed worrying indications that Hamas has no intention of reaching any agreement on a hostage exchange. This means a powerful military operation in Rafah and other parts of the Gaza Strip very soon."
