Israel to open Rafah Border Crossing: "We will not obstruct the passage of humanitarian aid to Gaza"
Israel is preparing to open the Rafah Border Crossing, which connects the blockaded Gaza Strip to Egypt. Notably, the decision comes following a meeting between US President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Israel has made a notable decision regarding the Gaza Strip, which it has kept under blockade and bombarded heavily for days, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of Palestinians.
The Israeli government announced that it will open the Rafah Border Crossing, which connects Gaza to Egypt.

In a statement issued by Israeli authorities regarding the matter, it was stated, "We will not obstruct the passage of humanitarian aid to Gaza."
DECISION TAKEN AFTER BIDEN'S VISIT
The fact that the decision was made following US President Joe Biden's visit to Israel did not go unnoticed. It is alleged that Biden, who visited Israel, discussed the issue of humanitarian aid via the Rafah Border Crossing with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
ISRAEL-PALESTINE CONFLICT
The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, launched a comprehensive operation against Israel on the morning of October 7, dubbed "Al-Aqsa Flood." While thousands of rockets were fired from Gaza toward Israel, Palestinian armed groups raided and seized the Beit Hanoun-Erez Border Crossing on the Gaza-Israel border.
The armed groups then entered settlements inside Israel from there, and the Israeli army launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip with dozens of warplanes.
3,478 PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES IN GAZA
It was reported that 1,405 Israelis, including 304 soldiers, were killed and 3,968 Israelis were injured in the attacks originating from Gaza. The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced that 3,478 people have been killed and more than 12,000 people have been injured in Gaza due to Israeli attacks. 13 journalists have lost their lives in the Israeli attacks.
BLOODY HOSPITAL ATTACK
Most recently, 471 people lost their lives and 342 people, 28 of whom are in critical condition, were injured in the attack carried out by Israel on the Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza on October 17.
