Airstrike from Israel on Lebanon! 1 person lost their life

The Israeli military continues its airstrikes in Lebanon despite the ceasefire. One person lost their life in the latest operation, and tensions in the region have risen once again.

In the Arnoun and Shehabiyeh regions of the Nabatieh Governorate, Israeli unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) targeted motorcycles and vehicles. It was announced that at least one person lost their life and another was injured in these strikes.

The attacks, which were carried out on the grounds of targeting underground drone production facilities in the Dahiye region of Beirut, were part of a series of operations that have reached nearly four in number. These strikes, which took place near the time of a Jewish holiday, caused a sense of panic in the city.

The Lebanese army emphasized that Israel has not reactivated the UN-monitored ceasefire monitoring mechanism and that the attacks harm the spirit of the ceasefire. In a statement from the army, it was noted that this attitude could jeopardize participation in the ceasefire committee.

While the US supports Israel's drone operations, the UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon has also called for a "diplomatic solution to the complex situation." In contrast, Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stated that Israel's air operations violate international agreements.
