Israeli airstrike on Lebanon: 2 dead
The Israeli army carried out a drone strike on the town of Hula in southern Lebanon. Two people lost their lives in the tragedy.
In a written statement, the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health noted that Israel carried out an attack on the town of Hula in the morning hours.
The ministry statement reported that 2 people were killed in the Israeli attack.
According to news reported by the official Lebanese agency NNA, 2 people were killed in an attack carried out by an Israeli army drone on the Abra area in the town of Hula in the morning hours.
Israel also targeted the town of Ayta ash Shab, located in the border region of Lebanon, with artillery fire and fired flares over villages and the coast in the Tyre region.
Israeli forces opened fire with heavy machine guns in the morning hours in the forested areas adjacent to the towns of Naqoura, Jabal Labbouneh, and Jabal Alam along the border line with Lebanon, known as the "Blue Line".
Israeli army reconnaissance aircraft, UAVs, and drones have also intensified their flights over villages in the western and central sectors as far as the Litani River since last night.
