Israeli army announces it has not launched an official ground operation

Channel 12 television, citing an unnamed official from the White House, reported that "Israeli forces have entered Gaza by land in a limited capacity."

THE OPERATION IS NOT AN OFFICIAL GROUND OFFENSIVE

Information relayed from military sources stated that the operation on the Gaza border is not an official ground offensive. Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated in his remarks yesterday that they were increasing their airstrikes on the Gaza Strip and would expand ground operations during the night.

Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi also stated on his social media account that Israel had "launched a ground war" on the Gaza Strip, warning that the war would lead to a "humanitarian catastrophe of massive proportions for years to come."

WHAT IS THE SITUATION IN GAZA?

Due to Israel's intense attacks on the blockaded Gaza Strip, landline, mobile phone, and internet communication services in the region have been completely cut off.

The Israeli army announced that it is increasing its airstrikes and expanding its ground operations.

Al-Shifa Hospital, the largest health facility in Gaza where thousands of wounded people and civilians are located, has also been targeted by the Israeli army.
