It was reported that snipers were deployed on the roofs of some buildings and that reconnaissance aircraft were conducting intensive flights over the city.

It was reported that Israeli soldiers wounded two young Palestinians with gunfire in the vicinity of the Martyr Suleiman State Hospital.

LATEST ON HOSTAGE EXCHANGE

On the second day of the four-day ceasefire and prisoner exchange, Hamas had announced that it would release 13 hostages. In a statement made by the Al-Qassam Brigades, it was announced that the release of the prisoners had been delayed.

The reason given for the decision to delay the prisoner release was that Israel had not complied with the agreement regarding the release of prisoners and the entry of humanitarian aid into northern Gaza.
