Israeli Army Spokesperson announces they will attack if humanitarian pause is not extended
Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari stated that they are prepared if the "humanitarian pause" reached with Hamas is not extended.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari made assessments regarding the prisoner exchange and the "humanitarian pause" during a press conference.
The spokesperson noted that they expect more Israeli hostages to be released this evening as part of the reached agreement.
'We are ready to continue the conflict'
Expressing that they will continue attacks on Gaza if the "humanitarian pause" ends, Hagari stated, "The Israeli army is ready to continue the conflict. We are ready to attack at any moment, including tonight."
As part of the prisoner exchange agreement reached between Israel and Hamas, a 4-day "humanitarian pause" was implemented in the Gaza Strip on November 24, halting the fighting. This "humanitarian pause" was extended for another 3 days following two separate rounds of negotiations.
