Israeli forces attack Gaza: 2 dead

Two people were killed and one was seriously injured after Israeli forces opened fire on Nasser Hospital, which they have kept under siege in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

Israeli forces attack Gaza: 2 dead

Israeli forces continue their attacks on Nasser Hospital and its surroundings, which they have kept under siege in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to information obtained from eyewitnesses, forces belonging to the Israeli army opened fire on the hospital building and its courtyard. Two people lost their lives and one person was seriously injured in the attack. Witnesses stated that Israeli soldiers were opening fire on anyone moving around Nasser Hospital.

It was also noted that a large number of houses were destroyed as a result of Israeli forces bombing a residential area in the west of Khan Yunis city.

CONCERNS FOR THE LIVES OF 10 THOUSAND PEOPLE

Ashraf al-Qudra, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, had previously stated in a statement that Israeli forces were firing heavily at the gates, buildings, and courtyard of Nasser Hospital.

Stating that medical teams were unable to move from one building to another within the hospital complex, al-Qudra had reported that one person was killed and several others were injured as a result of the gunfire.

CURRENT SITUATION AT NASSER HOSPITAL

Al-Qudra had reported that they were concerned for the lives of 300 medical personnel, 450 patients and wounded, and 10 thousand displaced Palestinians at Nasser Hospital.

On the other hand, the Palestinian news agency WAFA had also shared information that one person was killed and 3 people were injured as a result of fire opened by Israeli snipers at Nasser Hospital.

The Israeli army has been keeping Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, as well as the Palestine Red Crescent Society center and the Al-Amal Hospital affiliated with the Red Crescent, under siege for more than two weeks.
