Israeli forces kill another Palestinian, alleging an attempted car-ramming attack
Israeli forces have killed a Palestinian in the West Bank who was alleged to have "attempted a car-ramming attack." In the incident near the town of Hizma, it was stated that the Palestinian driver was "neutralized," and Route 437 was closed to traffic following the event. Earlier today, 35 people were injured near Tel Aviv when a truck struck people waiting at a bus stop.
In a statement from the Israeli police, it was reported that a short time ago, a report was received regarding "Route 437" near the town of Hizma, claiming that "a Palestinian vehicle attempted to run over soldiers." While there were no casualties among the soldiers, it was stated that the driver was "neutralized" at the scene.
It was noted that following the incident, Route 437, which runs from Hizma to Anata, was closed to traffic.
Earlier today, it was announced that 35 people were injured, at least 6 of them seriously, when a truck struck people waiting at a bus stop near the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv. It was stated that the truck driver was shot and killed by "armed civilians" in the area.
