Israeli media: Attack plan approved

According to a report by Israel's state broadcaster KAN, citing an unnamed official, Gallant and Halevi have approved the plans for an attack on Iran.

It was stated that the decision and approval of the Israeli government are awaited for the date the attack will be carried out.

On the other hand, an official speaking to Israeli Army Radio stated that reports suggesting the Tel Aviv administration was forced to postpone the attack following the leak of US intelligence documents containing Israel's preparations for an attack on Iran are not true.

The unnamed official stated that Israel will "choose the appropriate time" for the attack.

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Iran carried out a missile attack on Israel on October 1. The Tel Aviv administration had announced that it would respond to Iran's attack.

In a report on Israel's Channel 13 television, it was claimed that the US had asked Tel Aviv to "soften" its planned attack on Iran.
