Israeli media reveals the cost of the Iranian attack
Israeli media reported that the cost of the attack launched by Iran using unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to the Israeli economy is 1.35 billion dollars.
In a report featuring the assessments of Brigadier General Ram Aminah, former financial advisor to the Israeli Chief of Staff, the newspaper Yediot Aharonot stated that Israel's defense costs last night amounted to 4-5 billion shekels (1.08 - 1.35 billion dollars).
Pointing out that this figure represents only the defense costs spent on intercepting the missiles launched by Iran, Aminah noted that injuries and the damage caused to the locations where the missiles struck are not included in this figure.
Stating that each unit of the Arrow anti-ballistic missile system developed by Israel costs 3.5 million dollars, Aminah also pointed out that the aircraft scrambled to shoot down Iranian UAVs incurred a separate cost.
Israeli Army Spokesperson Daniel Hagari had reported in a press conference regarding Iran's attacks on Israel that more than 200 UAVs and ballistic missiles had been launched from Iran toward Israel so far.
