Israeli media: We will respond to Iran in the 'coming days'
It has been claimed that Israel will respond to Tehran's missile attack in the "coming days" and is planning to target Iranian oil refineries.
Israel's Walla news site has claimed that Tel Aviv is preparing for a "significant retaliation" to Iran's missile attack in the "coming days."
Citing unnamed Israeli sources, the report argued that Tel Aviv's "retaliation" against Iran would take place in the coming days.
The report included claims that Israel aims to strike oil refineries in Tehran in response to the missile attack, and that Iran's air defense systems could also be targeted.
The report also stated that the assassination of high-level figures in Iran is among the possibilities.
RESPONSE TO IRAN TO BE DISCUSSED WITH THE US
It was noted that Israeli officials said the retaliation for Iran's missile attack would be "larger" than the one in April.
It was stated that during an Israeli Cabinet meeting held in a bunker in West Jerusalem yesterday, it was decided to respond to Iran's missile attack, but no decision was made regarding the nature of this retaliation.
It was noted that Tel Aviv will consult with the US administration regarding the response to be given to Iran.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps had announced that it had launched an attack on Israel with dozens of ballistic missiles.
Following the launch of the missiles, sirens had sounded across the country, primarily in Tel Aviv.
In a video statement he released, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that with the missile attack, Iran had "made a big mistake and will pay the price."
