Israeli Minister announces: 'Attacks on Iran will increase'
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz announced that they will significantly increase the attacks they are conducting on Iran together with the US in the coming week. As operations against Iran, which have been ongoing for 22 days, continue, targets will include the military command structure and strategic points.
Israeli Defense Minister Yisrael Katz provided information that attacks on Iran will intensify even further in the coming week. In a security assessment he held with the army command, Katz indicated that there will be a "significant increase" in the attacks Israel is conducting on Iran together with the US starting next week.
Katz stated that the attacks will be directed specifically at Iran's military command structure and strategic points. He also said that these operations will continue against security threats to Israeli and US interests and that the attacks will persist "until the threat is eliminated."
Following the US-Israel attacks that began on February 28, Iran responded with counter-attacks. Attacks were carried out on targets identified in countries where US bases are located, such as Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Bahrain, as well as in Israel. While Iran responded to these attacks, it was reported that many high-level officials, including Iranian leader Ali Khamenei, lost their lives during the US-Israel operations.
DEATH TOLL AND NUMBER OF INJURED RISING IN IRAN
According to statements by Iranian officials, the number of people who have lost their lives as a result of the US-Israel attacks has exceeded 1,348, while the number of injured is over 17 thousand. In response to the attacks, Iran continues its retaliations on its own territory and other targets in the region.
