Israeli Minister furious! Lashes out at countries recognizing Palestine

Israel has announced that it categorically rejects the decision by the UK, Australia, and Canada to recognize the State of Palestine. In a statement made via the US-based platform X, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that the recognition of the State of Palestine does not contribute to peace, but rather increases instability in the region.

"RECOGNITION OF THE STATE OF PALESTINE IS UNACCEPTABLE"

The statement included the following: "Israel categorically rejects the unilateral declaration regarding the recognition of the State of Palestine made by the UK and certain other countries." Israel argued that such decisions reward Hamas, consolidate the organization's support, and harm the process of reaching a compromise between the two sides.

EMPHASIS ON SANCTIONS IMPOSED ON THE PALESTINIAN AUTHORITY

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs claimed that the Palestinian Authority has not taken any steps toward resolving the issue, asserting that "the Palestinian Authority is part of the problem, not part of the solution." In this context, it was noted that the US has imposed sanctions on the Palestinian Authority and barred high-level officials from entering its territory, stating that these steps signify that the Palestinian leadership is failing to fulfill its obligations.

In its statement, Israel claimed that the decisions taken regarding the recognition of the State of Palestine are "disconnected from reality" and "imaginary." It was suggested that these decisions stem from the domestic political concerns of the countries in question.

Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar harshly criticized the countries that decided to recognize the State of Palestine. Evaluating the stance of countries that recognize Palestine as rewarding Hamas, Saar also stated that the recognition of Palestine by many countries in the past was also wrong.
