Israeli officials issue statement regarding Raisi's death

Following the crash of the helicopter carrying Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, allegations had surfaced suggesting that Israeli intelligence was behind the incident.

Israeli officials speaking to Reuters denied these allegations. According to unofficial sources, they stated that Israel had no connection or involvement in the helicopter crash, which was reported to have occurred due to adverse weather conditions near Jolfa, a city approximately 600 kilometers northwest of Tehran, near the border with Azerbaijan.

Furthermore, senior Israeli officials stated that no changes in mutual policies are expected following the deaths of Raisi and Amir-Abdollahian.

"RAISI'S DEATH WILL NOT CHANGE ANYTHING"

The senior officials also emphasized that, aside from internal changes within Iran, there would be no impact on relations because decisions regarding Israel are made by Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In this context, it was stated that from Israel's perspective, Raisi's death will not change anything.
