Israel's warning to Iran: The road to Tehran is open
Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and Air Force Commander Tomer Bar have stated that "the road to Tehran is now open," signaling that new air operations against Iran are on the horizon.
The military conflict between Iran and Israel is intensifying following a series of mutual attacks. The air operations launched by Israel and Iran's retaliatory moves indicate that tensions are set to rise even further.
"THE ROAD TO TEHRAN IS OPEN"
Israeli Deputy Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir and Air Force Commander Tomer Bar stated that air operations against Iran will continue. In their statement, they claimed that following attacks on Iranian surface-to-surface and surface-to-air missile systems, "the road to Tehran has been opened."
Israeli Army Spokesperson Avichay Adraee announced on his X account that senior military officials had met to evaluate the latest developments.
"OUR AIRCRAFT ARE NOW MORE COMFORTABLE IN IRANIAN AIRSPACE"
Statements released by the Israel Defense Forces also included remarks from Air Force Commander Bar. Bar stated that hundreds of targets within Iranian territory had been destroyed. It was noted that these targets included numerous missile batteries. It was claimed that, particularly with the neutralization of surface-to-air missile systems, Israeli jets are now able to maneuver more freely within Iranian airspace.
While Israel announced for the first time that it had directly targeted air defense systems in Tehran, footage of the attack was shared with the public.
A report published in the Israel-based newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth claimed that Iran's air defense capacity had been significantly weakened within the last 24 hours.
