It was the city's health hub: Israel struck a hospital in Tehran

In the US-Israeli attacks carried out in Tehran today, Gandhi Hospital, one of the city's important health centers, was hit.

In the footage shared on state television following the incident, it was noted that windows were shattered in various parts of the hospital building and material damage occurred on its facade.

Authorities stated that they have taken intense security measures around the hospital following the attack and that medical teams reached the scene quickly to conduct investigations. Moments showing nurses working at the hospital trying to safely evacuate newborn babies to another location were also captured on camera.

The Iranian Red Crescent announced in footage released during the day that not only their own buildings but also different hospitals were the targets of successive attacks. Following the attack, while healthcare workers were assessing the damage to the buildings, citizens experienced anxiety.
