Jeffrey Epstein's emails released: Correspondence with US Ambassador to Ankara Tom Barrack revealed

Democratic members of the US House Oversight Committee released emails sent by Jeffrey Epstein to his girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell and author Michael Wolff on Wednesday, November 12. Among the released correspondence were messages dated March 9, 2016, between Epstein and Tom Barrack, the US Ambassador to Ankara and Special Envoy to Syria.

CORRESPONDENCE WITH BARRACK REVEALED

In his message, Epstein relayed calls from journalists throughout the week regarding Donald Trump, Marla, beauty pageants, and Clinton. Barrack replied to the message, saying, "Hope you are well, let's catch up." Epstein then wrote, "Send me a picture of the child, make me smile." However, the context in which this phrase was used was not explained.

The released emails also contained messages suggesting that US President Donald Trump was aware of Epstein's abuse of young girls. In an email sent to Maxwell in 2011, it was alleged that Trump spent hours with one of the victims whose name was withheld.

REACTION FROM THE WHITE HOUSE

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt rejected the Democrats' claims regarding Trump's relationship with Epstein. Leavitt stated that the released emails do not prove any wrongdoing by Trump and argued that the Democrats' goal was to score political points. The spokesperson stated that Trump had removed Epstein from his club following allegations of harassment against female employees, including Giuffre.

US President Donald Trump claimed in a post on his Truth Social account that the Democrats brought up the Epstein issue to hide the government's failures. Trump stated that the issue was being used as a distraction.

THE JEFFREY EPSTEIN CASE

Jeffrey Epstein was on trial on charges of sexually abusing many girls under the age of 18, including those under 14, and creating a sex trafficking ring. Epstein was found dead in the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Manhattan, New York, on August 10, 2019.

The names of famous and well-known figures such as Prince Andrew, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Ehud Barak, Al Gore, Kevin Spacey, Michael Jackson, David Copperfield, Alan Dershowitz, and Bill Richardson appeared in the case files. In FBI and Department of Justice investigations, Epstein's death was officially recorded as a suicide.

The Wall Street Journal alleged that Epstein's girlfriend, Maxwell, had asked acquaintances to write letters for Epstein's 50th birthday, and that one of those people was Trump. US journalist Tucker Carlson had previously claimed that Epstein worked for Israel and that everyone in Washington thought the same.
