Khamenei's posters hung in Baghdad
In recent days, posters of Iran's new leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, and the former leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who lost his life in an attack carried out by the US and Israel, have drawn attention in many locations across the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.
Images featuring Akram al-Kaabi, leader of the Iranian-backed Iraqi Shiite militia group Harakat al-Nujaba, alongside Mojtaba Khamenei have been hung in various parts of the capital. Among the posters visible on the streets of Baghdad, works demonstrating al-Kaabi's support for the Khamenei family stand out.
In a statement regarding the matter, al-Kaabi said, "God saved Mojtaba Khamenei from the bombardment; the entire axis, with its soldiers and leaders, will stand by him just as they stood by his father."
Previously, a statement issued by the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Press Unit reported that a total of 100 posters of the former leader Ali Khamenei, who was killed in a US-Israeli attack, had been hung on various billboards in Baghdad. These posters, seen at key points in Baghdad, indicate that symbolic support for Iran and the Khamenei family continues in the city.
