Lavrov: Western politicians are not ready for serious talk
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in an interview with Bosnia's ATV television, commented on the possibility of negotiations between the West, Ukraine, and Russia. Lavrov said that there is 'no one to talk to yet' on this matter, and that Western or Ukrainian politicians are merely 'playing' a parody of negotiations in the form of meetings in Switzerland.

Emphasizing that they are "open to serious negotiations based on facts," Lavrov underscored that Russia will not participate in any event that supports the 'Zelenskyy formula' in any way.

'THEY ARE GATHERING SOME COUNTRIES IN SWITZERLAND THROUGH BLACKMAIL AND LIES'

Lavrov emphasized that some countries planning to attend the meeting on Ukraine in Switzerland only want to do so to explain the pointlessness of negotiations without Russia.

"Some are participating, but later they explain to us that they are only attending to point out the meaninglessness of such events that take place without Russia's participation and are based on ultimatums. Others are disappointed and have stopped attending such events," said Lavrov, while also stressing that the West is trying to attract the maximum number of developing countries and Global South nations to these 'gatherings' in Switzerland 'in one way or another, through blackmail and lies.'
