Left 2-year-old baby in the car! The young child lost their life
In the city of Istres in southern France, a 2-year-old child left in a parked car has died due to extreme heat.
In a tragic incident that occurred in Istres, a 2-year-old child was left in a vehicle parked by their father in a military base parking lot. On a day when temperatures exceeded 36 degrees, the young child remained trapped inside the vehicle for a long period, resulting in their death.
Aix-en-Provence Prosecutor Jean-Luc Blachon announced that the child's heart stopped after being exposed to extreme heat and sunlight, and that they could not be saved despite all interventions. Prosecutor Blachon described the situation as a "profound tragedy."
Following the incident, the child's father was taken into custody, and legal proceedings were initiated against him on charges of involuntary manslaughter. Authorities have not yet made a statement regarding whether the father was a civilian or on duty at the time of the incident.
