Following the revelation that the event, which was also set to feature the band on June 11, 2025, was being organized by the company of promoter Abdülkadir Özkan—whose remarks regarding 'boycott' calls had drawn backlash—social media users, including some artists, had called on the band to 'cancel' the show.
In a statement released today on the Muse band's social media account, the following was stated: "We have carefully considered the feedback from our fans and we respect their concerns.
Our show in Istanbul has been postponed to 2026. See you in 2026"
