In a phone call with US President Joe Biden, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that "Israel will continue its attacks on the Gaza Strip until all of its goals are achieved."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and US President Joe Biden held a phone conversation. In a statement released by the Israeli Prime Minister's Office, it was reported that Netanyahu congratulated Biden on the occasion of "July 4th Independence Day."
The statement noted that Netanyahu told Biden there would be no freedom in the world without the US, adding, "President Biden said there would be no security for Jews in the world without Israel."
The statement further indicated that Netanyahu informed Biden of his decision to send a delegation for negotiations regarding a ceasefire agreement that includes a hostage exchange in Gaza, and that Netanyahu "reiterated Israel's commitment to ending the war only after all its goals have been achieved" during the call.
