Netanyahu announces when the war will end

The ongoing war between Israel and the US against Iran is escalating tensions in the region. Speaking at an international press conference in Tel Aviv, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Iran's attempts to close the Strait of Hormuz are intended to harm the global economy and energy supply lines, adding, "This will not work. Israel is supporting American initiatives to keep the Strait of Hormuz open by utilizing intelligence and various other tools."

US-ISRAEL COOPERATION IN THE WAR

Netanyahu rejected claims made by some circles that "Israel is dragging the US into war." He emphasized that US President Donald Trump makes his decisions entirely with US interests in mind. Netanyahu further stated that Trump is already determined to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and does not need to be convinced on this matter.

“A REVOLUTION CANNOT BE MADE FROM THE AIR”

Prime Minister Netanyahu underscored that the fate of the current regime in Iran lies in the hands of the Iranian people. "Choosing that moment and reaching that moment is up to the Iranian people. A revolution cannot be made from the air. You cannot do this solely from the air. You can do many things from the air, and we are doing so, but there must also be a ground component. There are many possibilities for this ground component, but I will not share all of them with you," he said.

Pointing to the necessity of alternative routes for energy flow, Netanyahu said, "I think what needs to be done is to create alternative routes instead of passing through bottlenecks like the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab-el-Mandeb Strait. This way, oil and gas pipelines would go through the Arabian Peninsula to the west, to Israel, and to our Mediterranean ports, and we would eliminate these chokepoints forever."

WHEN WILL THE WAR END?

In response to a question about when the war will end, Netanyahu replied, "We want to dismantle the nuclear program, and we are doing so. I think these are achievable goals, but I will not put a calendar or a stopwatch on this. I believe we have goals that must be reached, and we are not counting the days." He further added, "I also foresee that this war will end much faster than people think."

Regarding US President Trump's remarks that he was unhappy with Israel's attack on Iran's gas facilities, Netanyahu said, "First, Israel acted on its own regarding the gas facility. Second, President Trump asked us to postpone future attacks, and we are waiting. Are there any signs that the Iranian regime is cracking? There are many signs."

As for the future of the regime in Iran, Netanyahu stated, "Can I guarantee you right now that the regime in Iran will collapse? What I can tell you is that we are trying to create the necessary conditions for the regime to collapse. But the Iranian regime might survive. It might not. If it survives, it will be much weaker."

Netanyahu categorically denied allegations that Israel provided misleading information to convince the US administration to go to war, saying, "I did not mislead anyone. I did not need to convince President Trump of the necessity of preventing Iran from developing its nuclear program, moving it underground, and becoming capable of launching nuclear-tipped missiles at the US. He responded to a question regarding Lebanon by saying, "I cannot disclose our war plans. We have plans for the future in Lebanon. To be frank, our number one effort is directed at Iran."
