Netanyahu: (ICC decision) Israel does not and will not recognize this decision
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in a statement regarding the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for himself and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, said, "Israel does not and will not recognize this decision."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a statement regarding the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) for himself and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
Describing the issuance of the arrest warrant against him as a "dark day," Netanyahu stated, "This is an antisemitic measure with a single purpose." Claiming that Israel is not starving Gazans, Netanyahu said, "Israel does not and will not recognize this decision."
Expressing his appreciation for those who oppose the decision, particularly the US, Netanyahu implicitly threatened countries that announced they would implement the ruling, claiming that those who support him, led by the US, have clearly stated that there will be serious consequences for the court and those who cooperate with it.
Netanyahu said, "No ugly anti-Israel decision will stop us from continuing to defend our country and will not stop me. We will not bow to pressure."
