Netanyahu's statement on Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, following former US President Donald Trump's comment regarding him that "he knows who the boss is," emphasized in an interview with Fox News that there is no crack between the US and Israel. Netanyahu stated that the goals of the two countries overlap, noting that their main agenda is to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

Netanyahu said, "I believe Trump does what is best for the American people, and I do what is best for Israel. Sometimes there can be disagreements between close friends and families. But we usually talk through these differences and resolve them."

Netanyahu claimed that they are in alignment with the US regarding Iran policy, stating, "We want Iran to completely abandon its nuclear weapons program. Our goal is the removal of enriched nuclear material from the country and the dismantling of all nuclear facilities." He noted that the US believes this goal can be achieved through negotiations.

Furthermore, addressing US Vice President JD Vance's remarks that "Israel is trying to influence the political process in the US like other countries," Netanyahu expressed that he respects Vance but does not share all of his views.

The Israeli Prime Minister underscored that his country maintains close relations not only with the US but also with various other nations, such as India, and that they have many friends. Netanyahu said, "We always stand by our friends."

Netanyahu claimed that some Christian villages in Lebanon want to come under Israeli sovereignty against Hezbollah.

Netanyahu also rejected assessments that Israel is in a "state of constant war." Stating that there is no permanent conflict, Netanyahu said, "Together with President Trump, we managed to make four peace agreements." He added that with the weakening of Iran, the number of countries wanting to stand with Israel is increasing, and that new peace agreements could be possible.
