Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu appeared on the US television network Fox News to make statements.
When reminded of US President Biden's remarks that Rafah is a "red line" for him, Netanyahu argued that "there are Hamas members in Rafah and that he and Biden agree on the need to destroy Hamas."
"THERE ARE DISAGREEMENTS WITH BIDEN"
Netanyahu said, "We have agreements on the fundamental goals (with Biden), but there are also disagreements. Ultimately, it is Israel that must make the decision."
Stating that the US and Israel being "united" would help his country's offensive in Gaza, Netanyahu remarked, "It does not help for Hamas to believe that there is a disagreement between us (the US and Israel)."
"THE RESPONSIBILITY IS HEAVY"
In an interview two days ago, US President Biden stated that Netanyahu is "hurting Israel more than helping it," and said that the Israeli Prime Minister's attacks in Gaza and the responsibility for the more than 30 thousand civilians killed in these attacks are heavy.
Biden had emphasized that the death toll in Gaza is too high and that the Netanyahu government must seriously focus on "how not to target civilian lives."
