Netanyahu makes statement on Lebanon border

In an interview with Israel's Channel 14, Netanyahu made assessments regarding the situation on the Lebanon border and the war in Gaza.

"I am not prepared to leave the situation in the north of the country as it is. We are making preparations for this," said Netanyahu, adding that he could not disclose the details of his plans regarding this to the press.

Speaking about the war in Gaza, Netanyahu said, "The intense combat phase in Gaza is about to end, and I am not prepared to stop the war without destroying Hamas. Israel wants to establish a civilian administration in cooperation with Palestinians in Gaza."

TENSION ON THE BLUE LINE

Israel, which has been continuing its attacks on the Gaza Strip since October 7, is also clashing with Hezbollah in Lebanon on its northern border.

Tensions have been escalating in recent weeks along the border line between Lebanon and Israel, known as the "Blue Line."

The Israeli army announced on June 18 that it had approved an "operational plan" for a possible offensive into Lebanon.

Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz also stated in a statement on June 21 that Hezbollah's attacks on Israeli territory and citizens would not be tolerated and that they would make the necessary decisions soon.
